03 - Liechtenstein - Specific legislative framework
The University Law has been in existence since 2004 and is a framework
law regulating the matters of the higher education institutions in 56
articles. Part 1, general terms and conditions, contains the legal
regulations. Part 2 contains a detailed description of university
regulations (responsibilities, approvals, courses of study, students,
teachers, academic degrees and honorary titles, quality management and
supervision, financing). Part 3 deals with university-related
institutions, part 4 with the university association of Liechtenstein,
while part 5 outlines sanctions and legal remedies. Part 6 deals with
regional and international collaboration and part 7 with temporary
arrangements and final provisions.
